Job summary

Binance.US is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Litigation to lead the in-house litigation portfolio across complex commercial, consumer, and regulatory matters. You will coordinate multiple external law firms, supervise a growing Legal team, and partner with Compliance, Product, Finance, Marketing, and IT/Security to identify and mitigate risk.

The role requires a JD, U.S. bar admission, and at least six years of post‑law‑school litigation experience, with strong written and verbal

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and bar admission in good standing.
• Six-plus years of post-law-school litigation experience with complex matters.
• Significant experience managing outside counsel and coordinating across firms.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of litigation, arbitration, and investigations across jurisdictions from assessment to resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy with leadership and coordinate multiple external firms; set objectives, budgets, timelines, staffing, and performance standards.
• Serve as the in-house point of coordination for assigned matters with internal and external stakeholders; ensure consistency of strategy and communication.
• Evaluate claims, advise on risk, and propose litigation and settlement strategies with practical business impact.
• Oversee pleadings, discovery, e-discovery, motions, trials, and settlements; manage litigation budgets and spend.
• Establish outside-counsel practices, staffing, and efficiencies; monitor invoicing and spend; optimize results.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Product, Finance, Marketing, IT/Security, and other teams to gather facts and preserve evidence.
• Identify trends and advise leadership on exposure and mitigation opportunities.
