Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation seeks a Senior Litigation Counsel to join its impact litigation team. The role focuses on complex cases advancing Native Hawaiian rights, including appellate work and strategic litigation leadership.

Responsibilities include developing case strategy, supervising teams, managing discovery and testimony, and representing NHLC in high-stakes litigation and settlements with a commitment to Indigenous rights and community impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in litigation.
• Active license to practice law in Hawaii or immediate eligibility for admission.
• Experience handling first-chair responsibility in litigation, trial and appellate exposure preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage assigned cases including case assessment, strategy, and supervision of case team.
• Lead discovery, witness preparation, depositions and courtroom advocacy.
• Communicate with NHLC leadership and stakeholders; advocate for Native Hawaiian rights.
