Sentry Insurance seeks a Claims Representative Specialist on the PL - Litigation team to investigate and resolve litigated claims, evaluate coverages, and negotiate settlements with claimants and their counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Extensive claims knowledge with litigated claims.
• Ability to review complex documents, policies and regulations.
• Advanced writing, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve litigated claims, negotiate settlements within authority.
• Verify coverages by reviewing policy terms and language with counsel as needed.
• Take statements, review reports, and assess liability and evidence.
• Document decisions and communications throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Mentor associates to share knowledge and support team goals.
