Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join its fully remote legal team. The role is based remotely with the client being in South Africa, handling complex litigation from inception to resolution.

Ideal candidates excel in autonomous work, possess exceptional organization and a proven track record in civil/commercial litigation, and are admitted attorneys in good standing in South Africa. Remote work supports flexible client interactions.

Formación

• Admitted attorney with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in civil litigation.
• Proven track record in complex commercial litigation, personal injury, or related areas.

Responsabilidades

• Manage complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents with precision.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and disputes.
• Advise clients on rights, obligations, and litigation risks.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with virtual team members in a remote environment.
• Stay updated on evolving case law and litigation developments.
• Maintain organized case files, meeting court deadlines.
