Jobot is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Attorney to join our Nashville-based legal team. This permanent, on-site role requires at least 5 years of business litigation experience and offers a salary of $125,000–$150,000 per year.

You will handle complex disputes, draft pleadings, and participate in trials and appeals. The ideal candidate has strong legal research and writing skills, excellent negotiation ability, and a proven track record in trial practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business litigation, complex litigation, breach of contract, and business disputes.
• Exceptional skills in legal research and legal writing.
• Proven track record in trial practice.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes amicably.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and opposing counsel.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in all phases of business litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and appeals.
• Handling complex litigation cases and business disputes with a high degree of professionalism and competence.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Conducting comprehensive legal research to support case strategy and to stay updated on recent laws and regulations.
• Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients, when appropriate, to avoid costly and time-consuming litigation.
• Collaborating with other team members, clients, and opposing counsel to ensure effective case management.
• Providing sound legal advice to clients, explaining complex legal concepts in clear, understandable language.
• Maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and professional responsibility.
