W3Global partners with an established Nashville law firm seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Litigation Section. The attorney will handle sophisticated disputes in commercial, business and life-sciences matters, developing litigation skills alongside experienced lawyers.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., Tennessee Bar admission or eligibility, and 1–5 years of relevant experience, with responsibilities ranging from investigation through trial preparation. Compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Approximately 1–5 years of relevant legal or litigation experience.
• Admission to the Tennessee Bar, or eligibility to obtain Tennessee Bar admission promptly.
• Practical experience with litigation-related work, including legal research, pleadings, motions, discovery and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical reasoning and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Researching and analysing complex legal and factual issues. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and other litigation documents.
• Managing discovery, document review, investigations and case preparation.
• Supporting depositions, hearings, trial preparation and appellate-related work as appropriate.
• Developing litigation strategies and helping advance matters efficiently. Working collaboratively with partners, associates and support staff.
• Communicating professionally with clients and contributing to the effective management of their matters. Managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of legal work.

We've partnered with an established, full-service law firm in Nashville that is actively hiring a Litigation Associate to join its Litigation Section. This is an opportunity for an Attorney to work on sophisticated disputes involving commercial, business and life-sciences matters while developing their litigation skills alongside experienced attorneys. The firm handles a broad range of complex legal matters and offers associates exposure to cases of varying size and complexity, with responsibilities and assignments tailored to their experience and capabilities. The successful candidate will contribute to litigation matters from investigation and case preparation through motion practice, discovery and trial preparation. Depending on experience, the role may involve taking responsibility for individual matters or working as part of a larger litigation team on more complex disputes.

Key Responsibilities
