Job summary

ALLSTARSIT is seeking a Senior Linux/Web System Administrator for remote part-time work. You will oversee Linux servers, adjust Nginx and deployments, and support CDNs, DNS, and WordPress sites. Strong experience with high-availability stacks and automation is required.

The role focuses on maintaining production readiness, coordinating with Dev and QA, and ensuring smooth rollout of website and web app changes across global sites. Remote work supported internationally.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux system administration skills, preferably with CentOS and AlmaLinux.
• Experience deploying applications to staging and production with minimal downtime.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with development and QA teams.
• Infrastructure as code and configuration management using Ansible and Puppet.
• Knowledge of LEMP and MERN stacks in high-availability environments.
• Experience with NGINX load balancing, caching, and web serving.
• Experience with Memcached/Redis configuration and optimization.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, and ELK.
• Version control with Git/GitHub; cross-functional issue resolution in prod/pre-prod.
• Ability to manage multi-site deployments and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Next.js.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux server estate and Nginx configurations.
• Contribute to managing CDNs, Certificates, and DNS.
• Manage WordPress sites and deploy website/web app changes.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and routing issues across regions.
• Run Windows deployment tools or SOPs for broader system restarts.
