Vitaver & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to be based onsite at the client site in Juno Beach, FL. The role requires heavy leadership in infrastructure architecture and hands-on experience with Red Hub Enterprise Linux, VMware, and automation.

Responsibilities include defining standards, roadmaps, and automated provisioning to support large-scale compute and storage environments. This is a 12-month project with potential extensions and no telecommuting allowed.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• 2+ leadership in infrastructure architecture roles.
• Experience with Red Hub Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter/DRS/HA/vMotion/NSX/vSAN.
• IaC design and automation experience.
• IaC with Terraform or equivalent.
• Configuration management with Ansible or Ansible Platform.
• Automated provisioning and lifecycle management for enterprise infra.
• Git-based source control and infrastructure development workflows.
• CI/CD integration for automation.

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non‑negotiable requirement from the client Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required)
• Enterprise infrastructure engineering experience. (10+ years)
• Experience in an infrastructure architecture or technical leadership role. (5+ years)
• Experience with Red Hub Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies including ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, DRS, HA, vMotion, NSX, and vSAN.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure automation solutions.
• Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent platforms.
• Experience developing configuration management solutions using Ansible Automation Platform or Ansible.
• Experience designing automated provisioning and lifecycle management for enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with Git-based source control and infrastructure development workflows.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise virtualization environments consisting of hundreds or thousands of servers.
• Experience with enterprise networking, SAN storage, DNS, load balancing, backup, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards for Red Hub Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMware virtualization, and infrastructure automation.
• Develop enterprise technology roadmaps for compute platforms, automation, virtualization, and hybrid cloud.
• Design highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable enterprise compute environments.
• Architect enterprise VMware solutions including ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, and VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Define Linux platform standards including OS lifecycle management, patching, security hardening, image management, and compliance.
• Lead enterprise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and related automation tools.
• Design and implement automated provisioning workflows for virtual machines, operating systems, storage, networking, and enterprise infrastructure services.
