Job summary

Agile Defense, LLC is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to support RHEL administration, security, and hybrid-cloud workloads for Army and MI Domain networks. The role covers on-premises and AC2SP cloud environments with emphasis on reliability and compliance.

The candidate will deploy, manage, and secure Linux infrastructure, implement STIGs, RMF, and vulnerability management, and work with diverse teams to sustain critical enterprise services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 15+ years in technology-related roles.
• Experienced Red Hat Linux Administrator.
• IAT Level III (CISSP/CASP) + CE, RHCSA, plus one additional cloud-related cert.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, maintain Linux-based servers.
• Enforce RHEL baselines per security requirements and STIGs.
• Manage RHEL packages and DNS/DHCP/NFS services.
• Configure and secure Linux services across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Monitor performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with IA, Cybersecurity, network, and app teams.
