Job summary

Agile Defense seeks a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux across Army and MI domains. You will operate on-site in Oahu, ensuring security, compliance, and reliability for hybrid-cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include automation with Bash/Python/Ansible, vulnerability management with Nessus, and collaboration with IA and cybersecurity teams to meet RMF/STIG requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 15 years related experience.
• Experience in deploying and securing RHEL environments.
• RHCSA and IAT Level III certifications required or to start within 6 months.
• Strong ability to work with RMF and STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and secure Linux-based servers.
• Manage RHEL baselines and lifecycle including patching.
• Monitor performance, security, and capacity; implement DR procedures.
• Automate tasks with Bash, Python, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with IA, cybersecurity, and network teams.
