Job summary

Fed95, LLC is seeking a Linux System Administrator to provide on-site server administration for USAMRIID environments. You will manage Linux (RHEL7/8+), Windows Servers, VMware/vCtr, GLP testing support, and Veeam backups while enforcing baseline configurations and monthly patches.

Required: Active SECRET clearance, 5+ years of experience, Security+ certification, and strong Linux/networking/virtualization skills. The contractor provides after-hours on-call support to sustain high availability.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Security+ certification or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or KVM.

Responsibilities

• Perform server duties: install, upgrade, harden OS; patch management across platforms.
• Maintain and monitor VMware servers and related virtual technologies for high availability.
• AD duties: create user accounts, security groups, and manage large numbers of accounts.
