Job summary

Swift is seeking a senior Linux platform owner to manage production and pre-production Linux environments. You will provide L2 support, incident triage, and lead complex troubleshooting to maintain platform stability.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of enterprise Linux experience (Red Hat), with automation exposure (Ansible, Python). This role involves on-call rotations and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience supporting enterprise Linux environments (Red Hat).
• Experience with production operations, incident response and change execution.
• Exposure to high-availability, mission-critical environments with formal change management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical owner for Linux platforms in production and pre-production.
• Provide L2 operational support including incident triage, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• Lead complex troubleshooting of OS, performance, and platform-level issues.
• Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle activities per change management standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and application teams to ensure stable platform services.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop runbooks, tooling, and documentation.
