Job summary

TriluxTech LLC seeks an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to manage and automate Linux/Unix platforms across VMware-based on-prem and hybrid environments. You will ensure high availability, security compliance, and operational stability for mission-critical banking applications, acting as an L2/L3 resource across IT Infrastructure in a regulated setting.

You will build and patch Linux systems, harden security, support application teams, and participate in major incidents and RCAs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux Administration experience.
• Strong Puppet (configuration management) expertise.
• Hands-on VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) experience.
• Experience in production support / incident management.
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and storage systems.
• Experience with ITSM (incident/change management).

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux/Unix systems (build, patching, performance tuning).
• Ensure system stability, security hardening, and uptime.
• Support application teams with OS and middleware dependencies.
• Participate in Major Incident management and RCA (P1/P2).
• Drive automation with Bash and Python to reduce manual recovery efforts.
