Qualifications
- 5+ years of related IT systems engineering experience.
- Linux experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Security+ certification (DoD 8140).
Responsibilities
- Designs server and application architectures; maintains server hardware and software.
- Maintains system security; monitors logs and responds to threats.
- Maintains baseline configurations and modifies settings as needed.
- Troubleshoots and resolves system issues; leads incident response.
- Provides guidance to less experienced administrators; mentors peers.
- Stays current with operating systems and software trends; recommends direction.
