Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Systems Administrator SME to support enterprise IT operations and mission-critical services. You will manage Linux and Windows environments, perform CLI-based administration, and contribute to large-scale automation initiatives.

The role requires 10+ years of related experience, proficiency with Active Directory/Group Policy, virtualization (VMware/KVM and Hyper-V), scripting (Bash/PowerShell), and experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems and CLI
• Some familiarity in scripting languages (e.g Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with system automation tools (Active Directory, Group Policy)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Docker for Linux; Hyper V, VMWare for Windows)
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Zabbix, ELK)
• Understanding of security best practices
