Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Aurora, CO near Buckley Space Force Base seeks a Systems Administrator - Level 2 or 3 to join our team. The role involves managing Linux systems on large, classified contracts and ensuring secure, reliable operations.

You will collaborate across teams, implement security controls, perform quarterly patching, maintain user accounts, and support multiple networks in a high-security environment with DoD clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's; advanced degrees may substitute.
• Current/Active DoD TS/SCI clearance or higher at time of application
• At least 1 year of server administration experience with RHEL
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Perform as a Linux Systems Administrator on large, classified government contracts.
• Communicate effectively at all levels with internal and external customers.
• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems and coordinate with teams.
• Support multiple networks and ensure required administration tasks are completed.
• Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
