Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Administrator for our Aurora, CO facility. The role focuses on Linux/Windows system administration, VMware, and NAS storage in a large government contracting environment.
The candidate will maintain secure classified systems, support Cyber Security, and ensure uptime through patching, backups, and configuration management. Travel and a Top Secret clearance are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of IT experience.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
- DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Experience with Linux (RHEL) and Windows server administration.
- Experience with NAS storage (NetApp ONTAP 8.x+).
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and support after hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform as a Linux and Windows System Administrator on large government contracts.
- Administer VMware technologies and NAS storage.
- Maintain security audit and logging for classified systems as directed by ISSM.
- Support Cyber Security team and report project status.
- Coordinate with network, software, and system engineers and end users to ensure system reliability.
- Provide backup, recovery, and patch management to maintain uptime.
