Job summary

Fed95, LLC is seeking a Linux System Administrator to provide on-site server administration for USAMRIID systems, including physical and virtual environments. Responsibilities include OS patching, hardening, and maintaining high availability across VMware-based infrastructure.

Minimum qualifications include a SECRET clearance, 5+ years of experience, Security+ certification, and strong Linux and networking knowledge. Preference for LPIC/RHCE certs and DoD Enterprise Email support experience.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET security clearance required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Linux/Unix administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security concepts.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or KVM).
• Linux OS knowledge and command-line proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site system administration for USAMRIID servers (physical and virtual).
• Maintain baseline configurations and apply OS patches monthly.
• Sustain VMware environments and related virtual tech at high availability.
• Perform Active Directory duties for user and security account management.
• Troubleshoot server, network, and DoD Enterprise Email issues.
