Job summary

KBR, Inc. is hiring a Direct Line Supervisor (contingency) to lead automotive maintenance teams supporting TACOM managed systems. You will assign tasks, monitor performance, ensure safety, and coordinate with program leads to meet readiness goals.

The role requires 5+ years supervisory experience in automotive or logistics, a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to obtain security clearance. On-site work and potential shift requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of supervisory experience in automotive, maintenance, industrial, or logistics environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent; supplemental technical or vocational training preferred.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required); U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of assigned personnel, including Automotive Workers and related staff.
• Assign daily work tasks and prioritize workload to meet mission and schedule requirements.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to work standards.
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of assigned personnel.
• Enforce workplace conduct, safety, and compliance standards.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and sustainment activities to ensure alignment with Army TMs and SOPs.
• Conduct job site observations and ensure proper use of tools and PPE.
• Support quality inspections and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation; serve as primary liaison between workforce and program leadership.
• Provide daily or periodic status updates on work progress.
