Job summary

Remington Hotels in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Line Cook to prepare menu items and oversee daily line production on-site. You will maintain a clean, organized station and manage prep for teammates while ensuring adherence to recipes and yield guides.

This role requires the ability to work all stations, hold a food-safety certification, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Flexible scheduling including nights and holidays may be necessary to support the guest experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Line Cook in a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• Food handling certification required.
• Strong work ethic and self-initiative.
• May work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborative team player dedicated to guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Prepare and assign production and prep for Line Cooks; review priorities.
• Communicate changes to assignments during shift.
• Set up workstation with ingredients, tools, and supplies; breakdown at end of shift.
• Inform Sous Chef of supplies needed for day's tasks.
