White Lodging at JW Marriott Austin is seeking a skilled culinary professional to mentor entry-level cooks and apprentices while overseeing daily preparation and production in the hotel’s food outlet.

You will follow F&B procedures, health regulations, and federal guidelines; ensure proper food handling; help maintain food and labor costs; monitor freshness and recipe portions; and drive guest satisfaction through consistent quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and line cooking preferred.
• Ability to stand and move quickly for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cooking and preparation equipment.

Responsabilités

• Mentor entry-level cooks and apprentices while overseeing daily preparation and production in your food outlet.
• Follow company F&B procedures, health department regulations, and federal guidelines.
• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed at all times.
• Assist in maintaining food cost and labor cost standards.
• Check freshness of foods and ingredients, ensuring all recipes and portion-use records are followed.
• Monitor and positively influence guest feedback scores through food quality and service consistency.
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
