Job summary

White Lodging, a hospitality company operating premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants across the United States, is hiring an experienced line cook to lead in a fast-paced kitchen and mentor the next generation of culinary talent.

You will oversee daily prep, uphold health codes, train junior cooks, and help manage food costs while contributing to guest satisfaction with consistent, high-quality dishes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment.
• Proficient in sautéing, broiling, frying, and roasting.
• Culinary degree or apprenticeship preferred, not required.
• Ability to stand and work quickly for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Mentor entry-level cooks and apprentices; oversee daily prep and production.
• Execute back-of-house operations following F&B procedures, health codes, and federal guidelines.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times.
• Help maintain food and labor cost targets.
• Check ingredient freshness; uphold recipe standards and portion-use records.
• Positively influence guest feedback through consistent food quality.
• Foster a respectful, cooperative team culture.
