The ideal candidate has at least two years of cooking in a high-volume kitchen, can stand for long shifts, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Must be legally eligible to work in the USA; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Stand for most of the shift.
• Lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs infrequently.
• Legally eligible to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Use designated ingredients to create appealing and flavorful dishes.
• Follow portion and presentation standards for consistency.
• Prepare unique dishes to fulfill customer requests.
• Ensure food is cooked to safe temperatures and maintain logs as required.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Consult with supervisors to plan menus.
• Purchase food or supplies as needed.
• Maintain temperature logs and other documentation.
• Assist in break down/cleaning of the station at end of shift.
• Minimize waste through proper preparation and storage.
• Comply with drug-free and nicotine-free policies.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
