Job summary

PopStroke Entertainment Group is opening a new venue in Orlando and seeks energetic cooks to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare diverse dishes, ensure quality, and support inventory and cleanup routines in a guest‑facing setting.

Pay is hourly, with a wide range to accommodate experience. The role requires weekend availability and a team‑oriented mindset to deliver exceptional guest experiences at opening day and beyond.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for our guests.
• Prepare food quickly, safely, and to standards.
• Minimize food waste through portion control.
• Use technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with inventory and stock management.
• Collaborate with kitchen team for efficient workflow.
• Assist with dishwashing and food prep as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and opening/closing procedures.
• Remove trash and maintain trash area.
• Other duties as assigned.
