Job summary

The LIMS Administrator III role in Oklahoma City oversees the PHL's LIMS system, ensuring upgrade, validation, and seamless data flow. You will work with LabWare LIMS, Rees, and Neometrix, developing HL7 messaging and HL7 ELR feeds while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required with 4+ years of professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of medical laboratory workflows and federal regulatory statutes governing medical labs.
• Hands-on experience with LabWare LIMS, Rees, Neometrix and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze database and lab workflows to tune and improve the LIMS.
• Implement alterations, preventative maintenance, and fix software faults.
• Collaborate with Vendor and OMES for LIMS upgrades and implementations.
• Implement and maintain HL7/PHLIP/ARLN messaging (CSV/HL7 ORU) and HL7 ELR feeds.
• Develop and maintain PHL web accessioning pages.
• Maintain lab subnet, IP config, and file transfer for equipment integration.
• Develop LIMS visual workflows, Crystal Reports, and ad hoc SQL queries.
• Review grant FOA/NOFO and develop narratives, milestones, and justifications.
• Lead technical investigations, LIMS installations, refreshes, backups, and performance tracking.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and information security.
• Provide training development and delivery.
