Job summary

National Church Residences in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Closing Manager to lead and close complex LIHTC real estate transactions. You will advise the Development team on closing deliverables, draft and review agreements, and manage timelines with external counsel to ensure accurate, timely closings.

This hybrid role requires a Paralegal Certificate (JD preferred) with experience in multifamily affordable housing closings; strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills; and

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate required with a minimum of 5 years of experience closing multifamily affordable housing real estate transactions.
• J.D. preferred with a minimum of 3 years of experience closing multifamily affordable housing real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and approve development-related legal documents, identifying and resolving issues.
• Lead the financial closing process for complex real estate closings with internal and external partners.
• Draft agreements, amendments, purchase documents, entity documents, resolutions and consents.
• Provide direction to the closing team and oversee outside counsel.
• Monitor outside counsel and ensure accurate billing in Legal Tracker.
