Job summary
National Church Residences seeks a Senior Closing Manager to lead complex LIHTC real estate closings and advise the Development team on closing deliverables and processes. You will review and draft key documents, manage outside counsel, and drive timelines across multifamily acquisitions and developments.
You will coordinate with originations, preconstruction, paralegal and attorney teams, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk, while leading a collaborative closing team in a hybrid Central
Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate required with 5+ years closing multifamily affordable housing deals.
- JD preferred with 3+ years closing multifamily affordable housing deals.
Responsibilities
- Review, negotiate and approve development-related legal documents and resolve issues.
- Advise the development team on LIHTC, HUD, financing, title and survey issues.
- Lead the financial closing process for complex transactions and coordinate with partners.
- Assign tasks to originations, preconstruction, paralegals and attorneys to meet deadlines.
- Monitor outside counsel and approve legal invoices to ensure proper billing.
- Promote and participate as a team member of the Development group.
