Job summary

Evernorth is seeking a Senior Community Investments Officer in Burlington, VT to lead LIHTC equity investments from offer to closing. You will partner with internal teams, sponsors, lenders, and developers to structure deals, model finances, negotiate terms, and oversee due diligence.

Requirements include 5–7 years in syndication/underwriting, strong Excel skills, and a business/finance degree with related credit analysis training preferred. Travel within New England is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, real estate, accounting, or related field required.
• Formal credit, underwriting, or financial analysis training strongly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage LIHTC investment opportunities pipeline.
• Analyze LIHTC feasibility, risks, developer strength, and returns.
• Structure LIHTC transactions per investment criteria and pricing.
• Lead negotiations of equity offers and partnership agreements.
• Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, and closing processes.
• Prepare investment proposals for committee and investor review.
• Provide technical assistance to partners and support Evernorth lines of business.
• Travel within New England and to national events.
• Uphold Evernorth values of respect, service, value, and partnership.
