Job summary

Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel in Highland, CA seeks a Lead Lighting to guide all lighting installations for the Event Center under the Production Manager. You will train staff, enforce standards, and serve as the lighting expert for troubleshooting and event lighting needs.

The role handles programming and running lights, adapting to events on short notice and coordinating with artists’ reps and production management to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in lighting, theatre, or related field.
• Minimum four years of live entertainment performance lighting experience.
• Experience may substitute education as allowed.

Responsibilities

• Leads the lighting operations for the theater and ensures standards are followed.
• Tests and resolves equipment issues, loads in/out band equipment.
• Operates lighting control boards, programs and adjusts lighting per artist specs.
• Creates and distributes lighting plot plans to schedule event lighting.
• Performs maintenance and coordinates with service vendors.
• Diagnoses lighting and IT issues and provides alternatives to meet deadlines.
• Maintains lighting software and compatibility across systems.
