Job summary

Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel seeks a Stagehand to support live events by maintaining and operating audio, lighting and video gear, and preparing the stage from setup to strike.

The role requires a High School diploma, at least three years of tour and stage production experience, forklift experience preferred, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays in a fast paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of tour and stage production experience required.
• Strong background in technical live entertainment practices including sound, video, lighting and rigging.
• Experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must possess proficiency in all Microsoft applications and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all aspects of production events including load in, setup, performance, strike and load out.
• Assists audio, lighting, and video; maintains and repairs equipment as needed and directs backline and supplies.
• Operates heavy machinery if certified (forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts).
• Sets up and tears down flooring, chairs, barricades and staging equipment.
• Operates and maintains stage areas in a safe, clean manner; prepares for next show.
• Performs other duties to support efficient operation of the department.
