Job summary

Yaamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel is seeking a Lead Lighting professional to guide all lighting installations for the Event Center. You will lead training, enforce standards, and serve as the lighting expert for troubleshooting and event-based adjustments.

The role requires extensive programming and operation of lighting systems, coordination with production management, and strong communication with the team to meet tour specifications and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience with live entertainment performance lighting.
• Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lighting operations for the theater and ensure standards and procedures are followed.
• Test and resolve equipment issues; manage load-in/out for events.
• Operate lighting control boards and program lighting per artist/tour specifications.
• Create and distribute lighting plot plans and schedule lighting needs.
• Maintain and update lighting equipment and software; perform preventative maintenance.
