Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Senior Underwriting Consultant with life underwriting expertise to join our remote team. You will assess medical and financial risks for individual life applications while supporting sales and maintaining high customer service standards.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in life underwriting, with experience handling large face amounts and authority up to $5,000,000. FLMI/FALU/CLU designations are preferred or pursued, and independence across complex cases

Qualifications

• 5+ years of life underwriting experience with demonstrated competence and experience handling larger face amount cases.
• Experience with brokerage distribution marketplace.
• Required approval authority up to $5,000,000.
• FLMI, FALU and/or CLU designations preferred or progress toward these designations.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex formal applications and informal quote applications with independence within approval Authority guidelines.
• Analyze information to reach medical and financial risk assessments.
• Manage change, defuse conflicts and negotiate positive results.
• Interact with a sophisticated field force dealing with an upscale market.
