Corebridge Financial is seeking a Sr. Underwriting Consultant to assess medical and financial risk for individual life insurance applications, supporting sales with accurate risk evaluation and timely processing.

You will underwrite complex applications, analyze information, manage a large caseload, and provide training on underwriting topics. Life underwriting experience and authority up to $5,000,000 are required or preferred with professional designations like FLMI/FALU/CLU.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of life underwriting experience with demonstrated competence handling large face amount cases.
• Approval authority up to $5,000,000.
• Experience with brokerage distribution marketplace.
• FLMI, FALU and/or CLU designations preferred or progress toward these designations.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex formal applications and informal quotes within approval authority guidelines.
• Analyze information to reach comprehensive medical and financial assessments.
• Manage change, defuse conflict and negotiate positive results.
• Take a cross-functional view of work processes and understand ramifications to other areas.
