Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 5+ years of life underwriting experience.
• Active pursuit or completion of a LOma designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews insurance applications and documents to evaluate eligibility per guidelines.
• Determines medical, non-medical, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of underwriting risk assessment principles and medical terminology.
• Mentors and trains less experienced underwriters.
