Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 1+ years of life underwriting experience.
• Active pursuit or completion of a LOMA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews reinstatement/reissue applications and documentation to evaluate eligibility per guidelines and standards.
• Determines risk classification based on data collection and underwriting criteria.
• Advises financial professionals and customers about underwriting decisions.
• Assists with information requests and complex underwriting service issues.
• Performs basic clerical duties and supports underwriting processes.
