Job summary

Brailsford & Dunlavey, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead life sciences projects from planning through occupancy. This role collaborates with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver complex facilities that support innovation in biotech and research.

The successful candidate will manage MEPP and Technology scope, lead multidisciplinary teams, protect budgets and schedules, and ensure quality and compliance across the

Qualifications

• 10+ years in MEP/Technology related roles in real estate or construction.
• Experience with complex technology, mission-critical labs or commercial projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of design/construction processes and project controls.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client and project team contact through lifecycle focusing on MEPP and Technology.
• Coordinate design meetings and track actions to maintain accountability.
• Drive MEPP and Technology documentation for project execution.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and change evaluations.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to identify risks and resolve issues.
• Mentor junior project staff and monitor construction progress.
