Job summary

Avid Solutions is seeking an entrepreneurial Project Manager focused on Business Development to drive growth with existing and new clients in the Life Sciences sector. You will manage projects, shape solutions with clients, and support pursuit strategies while coordinating with engineers across disciplines.

The role combines project delivery with commercial conversations, including travel to client facilities as needed and up to 10% overnight travel to North American sites outside of RTP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Life Sciences project management with business development.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects and developing client relationships that drive repeat business and growth.
• Ability to engage clients at manufacturing sites to identify operational needs, uncover opportunities, and develop business through direct, in-field interaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with execution team to report task status, risks, and feedback to help execute the project.
• Travel to client sites to engage stakeholders and identify opportunities for expansion.
• Manage project deliverables such as FS, HDS, SDS, drawings, IOQ protocols, HMI applications, PLC applications, control strategies, and system configuration.
• Monitor and control project scope to keep within budget, schedule, and quality.
