Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior consultant in the Life Sciences practice to lead pricing, access, and health economics projects for pharma/biotech clients. You will collaborate with senior staff to develop proposals, manage consulting teams, and deliver client-ready materials across multiple engagements.

The role emphasizes market access strategy, pricing analytics, and reimbursement planning with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, biomedical engineering, business, or healthcare policy preferred.
• 6+ years of transferable consulting or relevant biotech/pharma work experience in market access, reimbursement, pricing, and/or health economics.
• 3+ years of direct experience in client management and content delivery roles.
• Demonstrated track record of managing direct reports and teams of experienced consultants.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and review of project deliverables to ensure proper framing of strategic issues.
• Facilitate client presentations and manage client relationships.
• Support business development and project sales cycle.
• Manage and develop staff, including performance management of direct reports.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and staffing.
• Design and lead market access strategies for technologies across product development stages.
