Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant in Life Sciences Strategy & Transformation to drive data-driven solutions for pharma, biotech, and medical device clients. You will deliver product planning, pricing, reimbursement, and regulatory/compliance solutions while coaching data engineers and developing predictive models.

You will analyze large datasets (claims, EHR, payer, sales) and apply ML methods to forecast outcomes, with strong emphasis on documentation and stakeholder training.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of consulting/work experience with pharma/biotech.
• Strong understanding of drug development and launch.
• Knowledge of life sciences functions: commercial ops, market access, patient services, medical.
• Ability to analyze complex information and tell a data-informed story.
• Excellent communication to convey technical summaries to senior management.
• Experience performing data analytics on large health data sets.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with cloud data platforms.
• Able to work in a matrixed organization and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver data-driven solutions in pharma strategy and transformation.
• Coach data engineers; manage data management and technical delivery.
• Build predictive models for outcomes and forecasting using ML and big data.
• Create internal tooling and automate workflows to speed delivery.
• Document processes and train business stakeholders on techniques.
