Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Managing Consultant for its Life Sciences team to support pharmaceutical and biotech clients with commercial insights, strategy, and data analytics. You will collaborate with Data, Advanced Analytics, and Tech Transformation teams to grow Life Science data services offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; four years of additional professional experience can replace it.
• Four or more years in Life Sciences, management consulting, and/or data/vendor experience, plus MBA/PhD/PharmD/MD preferred.
• Experience in commercial management consulting functions such as portfolio/asset strategy, data/analytics, launch planning, and market access is a plus.
• Must possess strong analytical skills (Excel, Access, etc.) and leverage analytics to guide decisions.
• 3+ years of experience in business & data analytics.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across the US up to 20%.
• Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate client business questions into comprehensive analytics plans to provide insights.
• Convey and summarize data insights through a strategic, actionable lens for stakeholders.
• Leverage diverse datasets (claims, formulary, EMR) to drive client insights.
• Lead discussions to define project requirements, scope, and tailored analytics solutions.
• Bridge data science teams and clients to shape data-driven engagements.
• Match client challenges with firm data and analytic capabilities.
• Collaborate with strategy and data science teams on projects like market sizing, patient journey, and KPI tracking.
• Assist in designing new solutions/services and translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Support multiple client engagements with presentations, memos, and reports.
