Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Life Sciences practice in the McLean area. You will lead data engineering efforts and deliver predictive models for outcomes and forecasting, using large health datasets and modern analytics tools.

You will build internal tools to accelerate delivery, document processes, and coach junior staff while collaborating with client teams across pharma, biotech, medical devices, and diagnostics under a flexible work model.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in analytics, science, engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of consulting or work with pharma/biotech clients.
• Strong knowledge of drug development, launch, and life sciences domains.
• Ability to analyze complex information and tell a data-informed story.
• Excellent communication to senior management and stakeholders.
• Experience with data analytics on large health datasets and modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage data, deliver technical work, and coach junior data engineers.
• Develop and improve predictive models for outcomes and forecasting.
• Conduct analytics using claims, EHR, payer and sales data.
• Build internal tools and automate workflows to speed delivery.
