Job summary

Guidehouse’s Life Sciences practice is seeking a Senior Consultant to partner with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and diagnostic clients. You will analyze scientific, clinical, financial and strategic information to shape recommendations and manage day-to-day project work.

The role requires 3–5 years Life Sciences consulting, a BA/BS degree, oncology launch experience, strong data skills, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Science, Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of Life Sciences consulting experience; advanced degree can substitute for experience.
• Minimum 1+ years commercialization and launch experience; oncology experience required.
• High level understanding of therapies and treatment modalities for tumor types.
• Ability to work independently with oversight; manage workstreams and mentor others.
• Strong analytical skills (Excel, Access) and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and oral communication; produce client-ready deliverables.
• Willing to travel to client sites across the US, up to 20-25%.
• Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
• Collaborative and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Analyze scientific, clinical, financial and strategic information to discern business implications of new technologies.
• Conduct primary research interviews with clinicians and executives in healthcare.
• Manage and mentor junior staff; prepare and present reports to management and clients.
• Travel is project dependent but averages about 20%.
• Develop and advance career path within Life Sciences consulting.
