Job summary

The Springs at Murrayhill in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant who can design and lead meaningful activities for residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. If you enjoy turning hobbies and stories into memorable experiences, this role could be a fit for you.

You will work part-time in Memory Care with weekend availability required, collaborate with a compassionate team, plan events, assist with transportation and snacks, and help foster connections

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors or Memory Care (dementia) experience is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass driving record screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging events including educational events, exercise, outings, arts and crafts, holiday festivities, and more.
• Partner with residents and team members to create collaborative, resident-centered programs.
• Encourage participation with empathy, patience, and enthusiasm.
• Prepare and serve snacks, adding warmth and care to each gathering.
• Assist with transportation to and from community events.
• Transportation to and from appointments, activities, etc. (company bus and vans are provided).
