Job summary

The Springs at Wilsonville is seeking a cheerful Life Enrichment Director to create and deliver meaningful activities for our residents, with a focus on all Dimensions of Wellness. You will lead a friendly Life Enrichment team and coordinate programs across Assisted Living and Memory Care to help residents Live Life to it's Fullest.

In this role you will communicate monthly programming, organize decorations for events, manage transportation needs, support budget monitoring, and maintain

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of related previous experience in a senior living community including designing and facilitating all aspects of a comprehensive program.
• Must have 3-5 years of demonstrated experience leading a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least 5 years and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening at time of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly programming for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents and families, in person and by email.
• Inform residents of daily activities through print and digital signage.
• Plan and decorate for events, seasons, and holidays across the community.
• Consult with and supervise the Life Enrichment team.
• Coordinate transportation for medical appointments, outings, and trips; operate community vehicles safely.
• Assist with department budgeting and monitor monthly expenses.
• Maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, Infection control, etc.).

Job Description

The Springs at Wilsonville is looking for a cheerful, optimistic, organized, and motivated individual who love to enrich the lives of seniors. This position is specifically responsible for planning and implementing meaningful activities for our residents, with an emphasis on all the Dimensions of Wellness. The Life Enrichment Director is essential to the satisfaction of our residents and our mission of helping people Live Life to it's Fullest.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Leading the preparation and delivery of monthly programming both in person and via email communication to our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents and their families.
• Informing residents of daily activities through various mechanisms including print and digital signage.
• Planning, coordinating and assisting with tasteful decoration throughout the community for special events, seasonal changes, and holidays.
• Consulting with and supervising the Life Enrichment team members.
• Coordinating and overseeing transportation needs related to medical appointments, adventure trips, resident outings, etc.
• Driving community vehicles safely to and from destinations.
• Assisting with the development of departmental budget and monitoring monthly expenses to ensure compliance with monthly budget.
• Maintaining professional certifications including but not limited to: CPR, First Aid, Infection Control, etc.
