Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in planning and coordinating daily activities that promote residents’ physical, mental, emotional, and social well‑being.

Engage residents one‑on‑one and in groups, lead social, educational, and outdoor activities, assist with events and the monthly newsletter, and help document progress while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of experience working with seniors or in life enrichment.
• Ability to work independently and follow planned schedules.
• Excellent communication and respectful, dignified interaction with residents.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Lead social, educational, and outdoor activities and outings.
• Assist with events, decorations for holidays, and monthly newsletter.
• Document resident progress and goals as required.
• Support Resident Lifestyle Director as needed.
