Gartner Consulting is seeking a Principal Analyst to lead strategic IT contracting efforts, focusing on Microsoft licensing, contracting, and related commercial models. You will influence CIO-level decisions and help clients optimize licensing across large-scale environments.

The role combines deep technical licensing knowledge with high-level advisory, working with global teams to deliver measurable business outcomes in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Competenze

• 5 to 8 years' experience within the field of Microsoft enterprise software licensing, contracting, and commercials.
• Insights into Microsoft licensing programs: EA, SCE, MCA-E, CSP, Azure MACC, etc.
• Deep expertise in contract management and contract optimization.
• Strong analytical skills, especially in license/subscription analysis, cost modeling, risk mitigation, and optimization.
• Dynamic presentation skills and experience presenting to clients at all levels, including C‑Level executives.
• Strong organizational & time management skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.

Mansioni

• You will be part of a team that executes contract optimization client engagements and provide the critical technical/analytical components required to advise clients with a focus on Microsoft.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the practice by working credibly and collaboratively with distant/international team members.
• Support data-driven analyses and prepare deliverables for client presentations.
