Job summary

A-STAFFING, INC. is seeking a Licensed Customs Broker for a Major Japanese Company in Dallas. The role ensures all customs entry activities comply with CBP and government agency requirements, overseeing classification, valuation, and duty minimization strategies.

The position requires a valid U.S. Customs Broker License, 5+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of CBP regulations. Office hours are Monday to Friday, with medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. Customs Broker License (Required).
• 5+ years of experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance.
• Strong understanding of CBP regulations, HTS classification, valuation, and trade programs.
• Experience with ABI software and electronic filing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute all brokerage activities in compliance with CBP regulations, including HTS classification and valuation.
• Maintain active U.S. Customs Broker License and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with import operations to ensure timely and compliant entry filing.
• Guide customers on documentation requirements and compliance best practices.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and train staff accordingly.
• Serve as subject matter expert for audits, inquiries, and CBP-related issues.
• Conduct internal audits of entries and oversee corrective actions.
