Pierce County Library is seeking a detail-oriented professional to coordinate and perform a variety of technical and clerical library duties. The role includes routine circulation tasks, interlibrary loan, cataloging, acquisitions, and researching purchasing options while providing excellent customer service.

Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree in a related field and two years of public library experience (or an equivalent combination).

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a related field and two years public library experience; OR equivalent combination.
• Valid WA Driver’s License may be required.
• Background screening.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and performs a variety of technical and clerical library duties in support of assigned departmental operations.
• Prepares correspondence and reports; performs routine circulation and collection maintenance functions.
• Performs interlibrary loan, cataloging, and acquisitions functions; responds to interlibrary loan inquiries from other libraries; provides customer service to the public.
• Processes invoices and researches purchasing options; troubleshoots issues related to the area of assignment.
