Job summary

LAC Federal seeks an experienced Library Program Manager to lead a federal library and Information Center supporting corrections professionals, government agencies, researchers, and students.

You will provide operational leadership, supervise multidisciplinary personnel, coordinate contract performance, and ensure delivery of library, research, information, and technology services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's in Library/Information Science or similar from an accredited program.
• Minimum five years of project/program management in a library context.
• Experience managing budgets, invoicing, and burn rates.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the federal library and Information Center.
• Supervise personnel, assign tasks, and manage staffing schedules.
• Oversee contract performance and quality control per procedures.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, invoicing, and expenditures.
• Develop operating procedures, policies, and performance reports.
• Oversee technical and reference services in a government library setting.
• Coordinate with Government Contracting Officer's Representative and others.
• Lead training, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate library, information services, and technology teams to meet needs.
