Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline.
• Passport Acceptance Agent Certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the public with the circulation of materials.
• Help meet the material needs of patrons through circulation: charging, discharging, and library card registration.
• Provide technology assistance and quick reference using the ILS or OPAC; assist with self-checkout machines, copiers, and our website.
• Coach and train Library Assistant I's and II's; schedule staff to cover circulation desk.
• Support understaffed locations and complete special projects; assist with Library programs both inside and outside the library.
• Resolve patron questions about accounts and fines using cash register and deposits; manage cash journal entries.

Education

High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Associate’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline
